No, not at all. Green Day has grown, their music is more mature now, this is obvious, they may no longer sing about idk masturbation and stuff (even tho using this example about masturbation has become some kind of cliche it’s still true) you can’t compare what they used to play when they were 17 to what they play with almost 40 years old now, it’s the same thing as saying that what you used to say when you were 5 it’s funnier than what you have to say now and that’s why we should all think that you’re not as good as you were, think about it, it makes no sense, Green Day is Green Day there is no such thing as “Good Green Day” and “Bad Green Day or “Old Green Day” and “New Green Day” this is bullshit, they just have grown out of some things just like every single damn person in this whole planet
